Treatments for Pain Relief

People who may be frustrated with lack of results from traditional medical treatment often find relief with Chiropractic, Acupuncture or Active Release Technique therapies. And they often avoid dependence on drugs or surgery. Most people have experienced at least some form of pain in their lifetime. It is clear that pain can manifest in almost any form, organ, muscle, bone or other tissue in the body. It is also very clear that our minds and attitudes towards pain can greatly affect our tolerance to the pain we experience. Sometimes, there is a known and direct cause of pain; for example, neck pain following a car accident, hip pain following a football tackle, or wrist/elbow/shoulder pain following a slip or fall. In other instances, the cause of pain may not be quite as tangible; here, we see examples like chronic headaches/migraines, carpal tunnel syndrome, plantar fasciitis and other conditions in which a cumulative and repetitive trauma, diet or other contributing factor is at play. Whatever your pain, condition or tolerance, the doctors at Innate are trained to locate the source of your pain and treat the cause, not just the symptoms, in order to bring you as much relief as possible.

Adjustments to the spine, cranial bones, or other body joints may be utilized in conjunction with soft tissue treatments such as Active Release Technique® or guasha. Acupuncture may also be advised as it is often successful in decreasing inflammation/edema, as well as significantly improving pain levels. Acupuncture is also known to treat a wide array of conditions and symptoms through it's energy channels treatment protocols.
